One of the best burgers in the city, genuinely. The blend of sushi and then burger is a wonderful combination and should be adopted in other places. The bar is a great place to sit because you can watch the food being made. The sushi is amazing of course.

Fantastic experience. It was a journey of unexpected flavors. It’s exceptional to be able to enjoy Masa’s mastery in this outstanding location. There are so many different nooks and crannies in this place. The two Michelin stars are well deserved. If you go make a point of visiting the downstairs space where you see how the same amount of space is allocated to the guests as to the kitchen. The chefs were very friendly and took the time to explain and enlighten.

Drinks: cocktails are decent, though not super special. Food: superb, innovative, and very fresh. Pictured items are: Tuna wasabi guacamole, fried duck tongue with two sauces, fried peppers, wild vege tempura, special robata of the night - hamachi ribs, and sushi with fatty tuna and uni, with froi gras, with wagyu and torched salmon. Environment was hip, casual, modern, and service was pleasant and quick!

Beyond comparing experience, chilled mild floral sake, juicy meat, buttery fish and tastiest burger. No words for dessert, one has to try themselves. Chill and cozy atmosphere.

Chic and stylish space with some of the friendliest staff I've had the pleasure to be served by. I got there pretty early (5:10pm) and the place already had a good amount of patrons at the bar and tables. I myself was sat at the bar which had some thoughtful touches like a metal footrest bar that you can rest your feet or any bags you may have on. I ordered the miso yellowtail skewers and lamb burger and was pleasantly surprised at both for how flavorful they were. The cheese on the lamb burger in particular was incredible and played well with the natural gameiness of the lamb and the crunch of the fresh onions, lettuce, pickles and tomatoes served on the side. Note that in the picture I specifically ordered the burger with no fries, but it usually comes with some fries on the side. Mayonnaise and what I believe was some kind of barbeque sauce (unsure) were also served alongside the burger. Overall testu seems to be an outstanding outing from chef Masa, just be aware that it is on the pricier side of things. Plus there's free wifi, just ask someone for the password.

Beautiful restaurant by chef mass in TriBeCa. Close to the canal st subway stations. They have big windows that open up and there are tables inside next to them - snatch one if you can! (No outdoor seating). Great bar with creative cocktails and nice sake and wine. They have an amazing happy hour menu including 5 fried chicken and 8 sparkling rose. There’s a yuzu cake with yuzu cream and grilled peaches that’s delicious!

Beautiful and very unique interior. Definitely reads more grill than sushi resteraunt. If you're looking for omakase, just go to his official resteraunt. The real star here is the Masa burger Monday for a burger, fries, and draft beer for 25. Shareables are there as side acts but definitely get one of the burgers which os hands down the juiciest and most well done ever had!

I tried this place once and I will 100% go back many times. The food is really delicious, I believe it’s one of the top Japanese restaurants in the city. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a date. There is also a bar and they serve great cocktails. Also the staff is nice and very attentive to the people.
